Hello! If any kind soul knows about Capt. James Parks and his family and their history in Butler County I would love to hear from you. I believe him to be my 6th great grandfather and father to my 5th great grandmother, Rachel Parks McGaughey. Capt. James Parks was the executor of another 6th great grandfather's (Alexander McGaughey) will in 1832. Rachel Parks married Robert McGaughey, son of Alexander on Sept 28, 1819. The families lived in Middlesex Township, Butler County, PA. I would love to hear from anyone with connections! Deb
