One online bio gives one of Robert's wives the maiden name CROW. -------------------------------- The 1813 WILL of Robert McCandless (Butler Co PA), written 19 Apr 1813 mentions: wife Sarrah/sic Sarah; dau Martha; dau Sarrah/sic Sarah; Jean DAY; Elizabeth GILLELAND; Margaret JOHNSTON; Bakel KILGORE ; Mary JOHNSTON and daughter; Robert McCandless [son]; John McCandless [son]; James McCandless [son]; Executors: William JOHNSTON, Esqr. of Cranberry twp; William JOHNSTON, of Middlesex twp. --------------------------------------- Can anyone help with the two executors?
