Providing there is no error in transcription of dates, this is apparent proof there were TWO Robert McCANDLESSs married to wives named Sarah. This Robert McCANDLESS is living in 1822, according to the separation filing from wife Sarah, and cannot be the Robert McCANDLESS who dies in 1813, Middlesex, Butler Co PA, leaving a will stating his wife was Sarah. I am also grateful to you for finding a verification of the marriage of my Joshua BROWN to Sarah McCANDLESS in 1802. Might you tell me the precise location of the original record?
