I just received the death certificate os Mrs. Jane SUMNEY or SUMMONEY and she states her mother's maiden name is LAISNIE or LAISNIR .. this one has me thrown for a loop .. does anyone recognize this as a spelling of a surname? I am not sure where they married but they lived in Butler Co, in 1840-1850 .. I believe it is either Donagal or Clearfield (not sure which is her husband .. William or Lenny SUMMONEY. She is living with her newly married (and probably pregnant daughter and son-in-law, Samuel MOHLER. Any stretches of the imagination as to what her mother's surname is ...
