I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving this year. We certainly have much to be thankful for as we wind up this year and head towards a new one. One thing I am especially thankful for are all the researchers and volunteers that we have on this Butler Mail list. This is, without a doubt, the best list I belong to. Our volunteer base continues to grow and people are so helpful and sharing. I hope that this group continues on into the next year as strong and involved as we've been in the past! NEW PROJECT: Several years ago, Ed McClelland suggested to me that we try to start up a township research project. This would involve one volunteer taking charge of a township. This person would be responsible for accepting 'donations' of information specific to their particular township. At this time, I am looking for volunteers who would like to be the 'Overseer' of records for a township. If you are interested in learning more about this, please contact me at sweeze@zoominternet.net . I will email you the particulars of your duties. This is not going to be a hard job and should not be time consuming. Thanks, Pat www.rootsweb.com/~pabutle2
