    1. Re: [PABUTLER-L] Evans City cemetery
    2. You might want to contact one of the Funeral homes in Evans City about a responsible person to do the work on the stone. Our family reunion had been saving several years for a bus tour around Concord Tp. We had saved several hundred dollars because we needed more than one bus. Someone brought up that a couple family stones were leaning badly. Members voted to have the stones reset, using the money saved for a tour. It was felt we could always go on a tour, but the stones couldn't be replaced. A person was assigned to get estimates, but tombstone people didn't return the calls. Young's Funeral Home was finally contacted and a referral was received. By this time one stone had fallen over and was in two pieces. It was too late, but an estimate was given for new footers for two other large stones. The two stones were lifted, placed on boards, new footers made, and then the stones were replaced. The man that did the work said they should last another hundred years. G
