I just remembered: John Brown and Elizabeth French had a daughter named Elizabeth Brown. She married George Boyd in Big Springs Church in Cumberland County. Their farm bordered the Esquire Robert Brown farm. Do you have any further information on them? I have George's children, his will, etc. I am interested in, however, his brother James Boyd who also came to Brownsdale in the very early 1800s. He was a blacksmith. It is possible that he married a woman last named TAYLOR. Do you have anything in your book on him?
