Does anyone know if there are "death indexes" for Butler Co. and Allegheny Co., PA? Beth

Hello Beth, Butler County has birth records from 1893 through 1905. They also have delayed birth records. Probably Allegheny County is about the same. I know they are not beyond 1905. My grandmother was born in 1896 in Allegheny County, but when I wrote for it they said it wasn't there. However, her nephew in Pittsburgh went there and found it for me. Her name was Elizabeth Augenstein and they had it Lizzie Augustine or something like that.
