If I have it correct, John LYON m. Margaret ARMSTRONG and had issue: John LYON who m. Mary HARRIS and had issue: John LYON who m. Margaret Agnes STEWART etc. OK. The one that would concern Butler County, PA, is the middle one... John LYON m. Mary HARRIS Here is what I see: Journal of the House of Representatives of the United States, 1789-1873 MONDAY, March 14, 1842. Mr. Jack presented a petition of Mary Lyon, of the county of Butler, and State of Pennsylvania, widow of John Lyon, deceased, a commissary in the war of the Revolution, praying for a pension. +++ Journal of the House of Representatives of the United States, 1789-1873 THURSDAY, July 21, 1842. Ordered, Tthat the Committee on Revolutionary Pensions be discharged from the consideration of the petition of Mary Lyon, widow of John Lyon, and that the petition do lie upon the table. What I wish to know is 1. If anyone knows of this family, 2. Did John and Mary both die in Butler County, 3. Where are they buried? Is it the reputed Tuscaroras Presbyterian Church Cemetery? Thanks, Vince Summers
