John Wimer b. 1787 in VA was the son of Isaac Wimer and Catherine Boston. Abigail Wimer b. 1787 was the daughter of Adam Wimer. Source: In an application that Adam Wimer's children made after his death in 1845 for pension that he served in the Indian Wars as part of the Rev. War it listed all his children. Abagail Wimer listed as wife of John Wimer. Isaac Wimer's will is a treasure to researchers and John is referred to in this. The sad part is we do not know the name of Adam's wife. Now, I have a question, I do not have an Abagail listed as a child of John and Abagail Wimer. I have a Margaret married to Morris Covert, an Elizabeth b. abt. 1820, Jane b. abt. 1822 and John W.
