I'm thinking his wife may have been a Beatty. I've found a couple Beatty's living with them throughout the years. However, when they listed William Beatty living with Jacob and Nancy in 1880 they did not list the relationship. However in 1850 they didn't list the relationship of Nancy Beatty either. One of the Wills/Estate records that I'm trying to get through is for an Elizabeth Larrimore that passed abt 1834. It also lists numerous Beatty's as siblings. I have a second Will/Estate for a John Larrimore that appears may have passed about 1831 that also lists Beatty's in the family. So I'm thinking that this John and Elizabeth may have been married. However, because it's all handwritten (and I've found someone with worse handwritting then myself) it's hard to read through it all.
