Deanna, I found your James Elliott in the 1930 Butler Co., PA census. He was 51 yrs old and born in PA. That would mean that he was born circa 1879-1880. Then I went and searched the 1880 Pennsylvania Census for James Elliott's that were around 1 year old at the time of the census...here is what I found at the www.familysearch.org web site.
