We will be in Pennsylvania from June 24th to the 30th and I am curious as to where a good place is to stay centrally located to Butler, Zelienople, Slippery Rock and maybe Beaver Falls. I hope to get a visit in at each one of these places for family research into the Wilson's, Webber's,.Wallaces, Ferguson's, Dow's, Hopkin's. Thank you Mickey McCall
I stayed at the Copper Penny in Renfrew just last week. Wonderful B&B - "just like home", good food, friendly hosts, beautiful house. It is close to all of the places that you mentioned - only 20 - 30 minutes away from most. Lou Eisler, genealogist at the Butler County Library, is a bundle of energy and very knowledgeable about the library's great genealogy collection. The library in Beaver Falls also has a great genealogy section (the genealogy room is probably the only room in the building with air conditioning!) Both libraries have many records and early newspapers on microfilm. - Pattie ----- Original Message ----- From: Mickey M<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2007 12:28 AM Subject: [PABUTLER] Visiting We will be in Pennsylvania from June 24th to the 30th and I am curious as to where a good place is to stay centrally located to Butler, Zelienople, Slippery Rock and maybe Beaver Falls.
