Beth, This would be interesting. I think my grandaunt, Georgiana FRITZ, was a post master (or maybe they called her a post mistress). It may have been in Petrolia where she lived in probably the 1930s(?). I'll have to ask my aunt if she knows as this is coming from a vague memory told to me by my late mother. Let me know if you find out anything. It would be a kick to find her photo because she never wanted it taken. I have movies of her running with her apron over her head and other funny situations. My dad was always trying to sneak up on her. Oh... I should ask this: Is there a list of post masters anywhere that I could check?
