My grandfather, Harold B. Cooper, worked in a butcher shop in Saxonburg in the years around 1914 to 1920 (and perhaps longer). He married another Cooper -- Sarah Estelle Cooper from the Cabot area. My mother, Elizabeth Ann Cooper, was born in that area on December 4. 1914. On the funeral card for Harold Cooper, it says he was born in Saxonburg, PA on Sept. 22, 1895 and died in Millvale, PA on January 13, 1959. He is buried at Mount Royal Cemetary in Glenshaw, PA. Does someone have information on this man? Or could SKS please look him up in the census for 1910 and 1920? Thanks _____________________ Tim Anderson Gaithersburg, Maryland
I don't have access to the 1910 census index. On Ancestry.com census index only two Harold Cooper's show up in 1920. One age 23 in Montour Co., PA; the other in Philadelphia Co., age 18. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim & Una Anderson" <timuna@starpower.net> To: <PABUTLER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2003 3:37 PM Subject: [PABUTLER-L] Harold B.
