If anyone has the 1860 & 1870 census, I am hoping someone could look up for the family of Martin Wahl in Forward Twp., Butler Co. PA. In 1880 Johann Martin & Christina Wahl lived in Forward Twp., Butler Co. PA. When Martin died in 1904 there was to be 10 surviving children. So far I have found the following 9. Catherine b abt 1850 William b. 1852 Heinrich b. 8/1853 Andreas b. 2/1857 Mary Magdalene b. 11/1858 Ausmus b. abt 1863 Matilda b. abt 1865 George b. 3/1867 Anna b abt 1869 Thanks, Gloria Weiss

Gloria, I don't have that census but - I have a book, "From the Archives of Butler County, Pennsylvania" by Diana Marie Voltz Geibel pub by Closson Press, 1997. In here I find several pages on the Wahl families with much info starting with Theobald Wahl > Sebestian Wahl > Johann Michael Wahl > Johann George Wahl > Johann Ludwig Wahl > George Heinrich (aka Johann Heinrich) Wahl > Johann Martin Wahl > Johann Martin Wahl Jr m. (1) Katherina "Catherine" Holderieth, (2) Christina Kriez/Kriess, (3) Augusta M. That's just a quick outline, spouses, dates, children, locations, etc. are listed. They married several Marburgers. You can probably find the book at a library.
