Also, if you are looking for a place with WiFi while you are there, there is a modern little coffee and sandwich shop with good food, called Panera Bread at 330 New Castle Street, Butler, PA. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mickey M<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2007 12:28 AM Subject: [PABUTLER] Visiting We will be in Pennsylvania from June 24th to the 30th and I am curious as to where a good place is to stay centrally located to Butler, Zelienople, Slippery Rock and maybe Beaver Falls. I hope to get a visit in at each one of these places for family research into the Wilson's, Webber's,.Wallaces, Ferguson's, Dow's, Hopkin's. The Fairfield Inn is located on N. Main Street (Route 8) and is 12 miles from Slippery Rock, 1 mile from the Butler Co Courthouse, and about 45 minutes from Beaver. Both the Historical Society and the Library have WiFi. If you do choose Panera Bread, it is located on New Castle Road by Walmart, not on New Castle Street which is downtown. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG. The Butler County Historical Society has moved its office and research library to the Lowrie/Shaw House located on W. Diamond Street, directly behind the courthouse. The office and research library are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are closed on all legal holidays. But it's still a good idea to call ahead! -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG. Version: 7.5.476 / Virus Database: 269.9.14/884 - Release Date: 7/2/2007
