My family is descended from Reinard Minster who I believe may have been born in Germany or his parents were. From what I understand, he and his siblings were orphaned and his brother Frank was adopted. Reinard apparently grew up in the orphanage until he was able to work. He was later reunited with his brother, Frank. His wife was either Mary or Ameila Sunderland and they had several children including Reinard J, Mamie, Florence, Joseph F, Alberta & William. Please let me know if you have anything that matches this. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I already found that Martha M. Cooper listing and took a chance and sent for it just last week even though I question the middle initial "M." In the 1880 census, she's listed as Mattie J. This article was from 1881 so the timing would be correct for a divorce prior to William's second marriage in 1882. I haven't received the information yet and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's her. Martha Cooper English just dropped off the face of the earth. As I said in my original query, William & Martha had a son Robert Burton English who was born in November 1880 after the census was taken. I have a copy of his social security application listing his parent's names. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I appreciate all the help I can get. Andrew Beikert is buried in the Saxonburg, PA cemetary. He was my great-great grandfather. The family plot consists of about 10 graves and a large marker with the family name. If you know saxonburg, it's right across the road from the AGWAY. A little further back from the road is the dual grave of Gottfried and Fredericka, the first Beikerts to come to the U.S., or at least the first ones with ties to me. Chuck Beikert. p.s. My son is named Henry and my daughter Grace, they are the namesakes of some of the people buried there. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Yes, I have some connection to Gallagher. I am really researching the Updegraph line. A daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) b.a. 1788 married a Thomas Alexander and they lived in the Muddy Creek/Worth Township area of Butler County, PA. Elizabeth's brother's (Abraham) daughter or granddaughter married a Gallagher. He served in the Civil War, came home ill, and I believe died not long after. I would need to pull my records to be sure of that. I took a neighbor, in his late 70s, for a ride and he showed me the site of the Alexander homestead he knew from the earlier 1900s, which fit with the early 1800s information I had. He was raised nearby. I know there was a Stewart in early 1800s Portersville. Does any of this fit with your branch? Dear firend, Hello. How are you doing recently? Some days ago, I came across a wonderful electronic company on the web and had a pleasant chat with the sales manager who can offer various kinds of digital products, such as the ilaptops, mobileiphones, digial camerasi, TViLCD, xbox360i, and so on. He told me that they are planning to lower the prices greatly for the coming Christmas Day, so that they can expand their overseas market. I have bought an iphone and a HP laptop, and i am very satisfied with their items and services. If you have time, you can have a look.
