Sarah Moore/Morse born about 1769 died circa 1840, married William Turk Mary Graham, born Ireland, 1768, married Samuel Campbell. Elizabeth Humes and William Thompson both from Ireland, parents of Robert Thompson 1797-1867. Parents of Mary Stickle that married Solomon Fischer I am especially having trouble with Samuel Campbell. An ancestor's DAR application says that Samuel was born in 1724, lived to be 101, died in Butler County, and his daughter was born in 1803. That means he was almost 80 when she was born. And there were several more children afterward. That seems unlikely. Another article states that Samuel lived to 1826, stayed in Lawrence County, and died at 98. He had a different set of children, one of which was a Samuel. There are several Samuel Campbells living near each other in north east Butler County. Can someone please help shed some light on this? This Samuel is the father of Sarah Campbell, wife of Andrew Turk. I need to complete information on these people, find graves, find siblings and parents, and in some cases, pray for a photograph or drawing. Please help! FRAZIER-At Portersville, Butler Co., Pa. Charles William, born May 1st 1886, died April 17 1887 of pneumonia. Ralph Kennedy, born January 21st 1884 died April 24, 1887 of scarlet fever. These were the children of Mrs. Nellie Frazier whose husband, Anderson Frazier, was killed about seven months ago by a railroad accident on a trip out West. Thus within a short time husband and children have all been taken away. These dispensations of Providence have been very mysterious and trying in the sorrowful experience of this estimable young lady. In her loneliness and sorrow may she richly enjoy the consolation of true religion and the prtical sympathy of the whole community.
