Daniel Malarkey's wife Margaret's maiden name was supposedly Hines. She was born on 27 May 1775 in "Germany". Daniel was supposedly born in Scotland in the 1765-75 range but I haven't located a date. Do not know if there is a connection, but I have a Sarah Elizabeth Montgomery born 1790 in PA died 1855 in Buffalo Twp, Butler, PA. Her fathers name was Nathaniel Montgomery and her mother was Mary McCully. I believe that Sarah had 2 brothers and 3 sisters, but I do not have any names.
