    2. Michelle, Thank you for Elizabeth's obit. If you could when you send me any more info could you also send it to James Voltz at [email protected] I have sent him the obit you sent. He is also related to the Dietrich family of John Dietrich & Anna Sophia Barth who came here from Germany in the early 1850's. His family is from Elizabeth's sister, Sophia who married Conrad Winter. My family is from Elizabeth & Sophia's sister, Dorothea who married Adam Frishkorn. What is confusing is that Elizabeth & Jacob along with Sophia & Conrad were both married 10/9/1852 in St. Pauls Church, Zelie. So where does the younger Elizabeth fit in to this? If her maiden name was Rahiser was she Jacob's sister or their child & they married after coming here? So many questions. Maybe what you have will answer them.     3. The Weekly Courier Connelsville, PA 10/31/1919 The Grim Reaper MRS. ELIZABETH DREBERT Mrs. Elizabeth Drebert, well-known Connellsville woman, and wife of A. Drebert, died Monday evening at her home in East Crawford avenue, in her 74th year. She had been ill for a year or more. She was taken sud- denly worse during the afternoon and sank rapidly, dying at 9:15 o'clock. She observered her 74th anniversary on December 4. Mrs. Drebert whose maiden name was Rahiser, was born in Germany and came to this country with her parents at the age of seven years locating at Evans City. She was married at Evans City and then moved to Pittsburg. Before coming to Connellsville about a quarter of a century ago the family lived near Breakneck for a period of five years. Mrs. Drebert was taken into the Luth- eran church when a child and had re- mained with that denomination to her death. Besides her husband she leaves seven children. They are F. W. Dre- bert, Connellsville; Mrs. W. H. Grounds, Pittsburg; F. H. Drebert, Carnegie; Mrs. F. W. Harshman, West End, Pittsburg; Mrs. H. S. Jobes, Connellsville; Harry A. Dre- bert, Wilmerding, and Miss Dorothy Drebert, Connellsville. Three brothers live at Evans City, a sister at Elwood City and one at Conway. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Dr. Ellis B. Burgess, pastor at Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. I also have a family reunion photo that I restored and that I am sure Asmus and Elizabeth are in.. I just dont which one they are. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and was held in highest esteem by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
