Peter is an older brother to Joseph Hesidence (1862-1906) who was grandfather to Harry. We have the family back to Saarland and have visited the church in Saarland where the immigrant couple - Peter Hesidenz ( 1795-1881)and Katharina Albert (1800-1876) were married in 1823. We've seen the Geibel name many times in the Butler Genealogy room and the cemeteries. We live in Texas and would enjoy hearing from you. Good day! Tom Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [PABUTLER] RE John Ekas and Sarah Young married maybe 1877 or 1878
    2. Doug B
    3. John Ekas and Sarah E Young were married either 1877 or first part of 1878. Their first child is Gilbert born Aug, 13 1878 Trying to find out if possible if there was any record of their marriage. It would of taken place in Buffalo Township is my guess. Both John and his wife Sarah passed away in last part of 1890. Sarah passed away in November of 1890 and John in December 1890. Not sure if married at home or at the church. Also I dont think the state kept a record of that. Not to mention if the county did. Any suggestions will be welcomed. And thanks for your help. Doug B [email protected] Why Wait? Move to EarthLink. Ancestry just re-enrolled me and started sending messages again. The timing was right. I checked the book and found the listing for Charles Edward Fish. I am much closer to the Chesapeake than most on this list -- I live in Maryland. My mother's parents were third cousins -- on descended from Samuel and one from William. Most of the Anderson listings in the index are my family. I am checking the US Census using Heritage Quest. I will let you know if I find anything of interest, but I doubt that the 1930 census will have the info that you need.
