I did find some information through Carnegie Library. It was also known as the Butler Orphan Home, founder Rev. Carl August Limburg. That was the minister who married John W. Bartley and Nancy Sechler. Unfortunately, case records were destroyed in a fire in the 1970's. Thanks! Chris Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have the 1880 Census in front of me now. No Bartleys listed then. However, the home at that time was run by Thomas F. Stauffer (Minister and Supt.) His wife is Hannah. Check the CD index on the Hist Society site--I think there are references to visiting hours (1870-1871). Elaine Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Decided to post them as random acts...I can tell you the Butler Co. Historical society is in the process of indexing marriages, deaths, etc found in the "News of the Day" CD set. The index is updated weekly and can be found on the Historical society web site. Additionally, the Butler Library has an index of estates (also of obits) which they will duplicate and mail. I attended the church service there last Sunday and meet people that I am distant relative to. It was a good visit and I plan on going back. This church was started over 200 years ag,in the Beighley barn, and the stone church is still being used today. Some of the original families are still attending service there. It was well worth the trip. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [PABUTLER] Lutheran Church in Butler
    2. Since there were and are Beighleys in the church still, do you suppose there are any Kelly relatives still attending. I know there was a Kelly Beighley connection at one time. I'm still trying to find out about my Great Grandmother, Mildred Elizabeth Kelly, who was raised by a Grandma Lepley. Don't know if Grandma Lepley was related to Mildred or was her actual Mother.
