My John Neeld came in 1692 and settled in what is now Aston, PA while John Neild or Nield arrived the next year, 1683, as an indentured servant to Thomas Janney. I don't know why but the spelling of the name has really screwed up a lot of research. In fact, one history of Delaware County by what is reputedly a professional historian spelled my Neeld three different ways on one page. No wonder us amateurs are confused. Thanks for the tips.
