Dear Mr. Koerner: I've been reading all these emails same as you, and with each one, I think I've been getting closer to finding my first late hubby's loooooong-lost ancestors. My sons are both interested in learning about their father's side of the family, and I've been searching for 50 years, now. So, please, just hit your delete button, and let the folks continue on?? I might yet find the Myers, Meyers, or is it Meyer/Myer, or Moyer/Moyers or Meier or the Stoltz/Stultz with or without the o, u, t, z, or maybe an s instead - and then the VanBuskirk, Wipf, related in there are the Detweilers and vanHorns... may there be light at the end of my tunnel. Thanks, Linda Tyson Meyers Davenport Now in Dauphin County ---------- Quoting Gordon Koerner <judygak@ntelos.net>: > This morning I deleted 24 emails... Oh thank you Linda....You put what I have been thinking very well and much better than I ever could have. I scan all the emails and I admit its rare but occasionally have found a clue where I least expected it. Thanks a million Becky and keep up the good work. ----- Original Message ----- From: <arel@epix.net> To: <pabucks@rootsweb.com>; "Gordon Koerner" <judygak@ntelos.net> Sent: Sunday, March 02, 2008 5:15 PM Subject: Re: [PABUCKS] Your Posting re:Bishop White's Private .... > Dear Mr. Koerner: > > I've been reading all these emails same as you, and with each one, I > think I've been getting closer to finding my first late hubby's > loooooong-lost ancestors. Hi On the Van Buskirk line I have access to a copy of Mrs Shoemakes 2 volume 2000 page Van Buskirk Genealogy, and can do look ups. A large section of the books covers the Bucks Co Pa branch. I have Bucks Co Quaker lines and was surprised to find a will in my Chapman Family line referring to his loft in which Andries Van Buskirk is living, so they were acquainted- my mothers line and my fathers distant cousins!!
