The bapt of their first 3 children is recorded in Hinzweiler Kirchenbuch, Germany, but they had a total of 12 children, none of whom were named Philip. Their children were (Johann) Simon Jacob Jr (1738), Maria Magdalena (1740), (Johann) Peter (1741), Daniel, Frederick, Henry, Michael, Maria Magdalena, George, Carl Peter, John, and Elizabeth. Another child, Charles, is listed in "Pennsylvania Archives," Series 5, Vol. 5, page 399, but other sources indicate that this Charles may be Carl Peter (the 3rd last child listed above).
