Pa Query Form Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Bucks/14812 Surname: Hoenig, Heany, Solliday ------------------------- Heany/Hoenig - Bucks Co., PA Here's what I have as a possible match. First Generation 1. John HEANY/Hoenig. John first married Catharine2,3. Born on 19 Mar 1740. They had one child: 2 i. Magdalena (1758-1825) John second married Anna WORMAN3. Anna died ca 1757. Second Generation 2. Magdalena HEANY. Born on 13 Dec 1758. Magdalena died on 9 Jun 1825; she was 66. Buried ca 13 Jun 1825 in Tohicken Union Cem., Bucks Co., Pa. Magdalena married John Emanuel SOLLIDAY, son of Frederick SOLLIDAY (ca1717-1804) & Maria Barbara WEISEL (ca1726-). Born on 1 Oct 1752. John Emanuel died on 6 Jun 1833; he was 80. Buried ca 10 Jun 1833 in Tohicken Union Cem., Bucks Co., Pa. They had the following children: i. Elizabeth3 ii. Suzanna2 iii. Catharine2 iv. Barbara2 v. Daniel vi. Margaret2 vii. John (1793-1868) HEANY--John Heany/Hoenig was married twice His first wife was Anna Worman. Her father's estate settlement indicates that she died around 1757 (i.e. before Magdalena was born). By 1766 according to Tohickon Reformed records, John was married to Catharine _______, who was born Mar 19, 1740. John had a number of children born between 1758 and 1766 (no mention of Heany's at Tohickon during this period). Since Catharine was old enough to have had children starting in 1758, I have assumed that she was the mother of those children. However, I don't believe I have definitive proof of this. On the other hand, I've not seen any records to indicate that John was married to a third woman, let alone one named Magdalena. If you have some source on this, I'd be interested in known (since Emanuel/Magdalena is also my line so I'd like to make sure I have this correct). 1 John NICHOLAS to Benjamin Ott, weaver. 18 Dec. 1778...613/4 acres...
