Joseph is identified as their child in the baptism records of Christ Lutheran Church in Tinicum Twp. There is no other mention of him in family information. In father George WEISEL’s will dated 16 Jun 1835, Lycoming Co, PA, there is a bequest to granddaughter, Nancy WEISEL, “now living in the State of Ohio.” We cannot place Nancy as a child of George’s & Elizabeth’s other sons, so she may be a daughter of Joseph WEISEL. If Joseph settled in Ohio and pre-deceased his father, that would explain the absence of any mention of him in the Will which mentions the other children.
