Hello list - I am new to this list and I'm trying to locate the Hess line that my gggrandfather comes from. His name was Stephen Hess. According to the 1850, Bushkill Twp., census records, he was born abt. 1818. His wife's name was Emma and he had children: James born 1843 Edwin born 5/1844 (my ggrandfather) Silas born 1846 Emma, born 1849 2 other women were living with this family: Julia Ann Butler or Bessler, 38 & Lena or Sara Haney, 17 Thanks to anyone who can help. nancy in Virginia
