OK... next question for all of you... According to the USGS Mapping site, Hickon Creek is a variant name of Tohickon Creek in Lumberville (I think that's where it is). Is there local history of the name Hickon? The Mary Emerson whose name appears in the baptismal records of Neshaminy Presbyterian Church may have married a man named William Hickon and I'm just wondering if this is an old county name. (You can see where my sleuthing is going, right?) Once again, many thanks... Linda Emerson Coordinator - Union Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania http://www.rootsweb.com/~paerie/townships/Union.htm
