A special favour, please: sometime when someone is at the Spruance Library would you mind taking a few minutes and see if they have records on indentures in Bucks County. I read somewhere that the government did keep track of them because they wanted to make sure that when an indenture was terminated that the freed people had been provided with the legally required clothing & tools to avoid being a drag on the neighbourhood. My ancestor George KENTNER & wife were indentured to Joseph GALLOWAY in Oct. 1764 for 2 1/2 years. I thank you in advance, Don
