He married Ann BROWN, daughter of Samuel and Ann BROWN on 4 May 1751 in Bucks Co, PA. After Ann's death (b. 24 Jun 1728 - d. 12 May 1755), Daniel moved to Loudoun Co, VA, where he purchased land. Per the Quaker Records of Falls Monthly Meeting, Pennsylvania, (dated 4-1mo-1769) Daniel requested a certificate for his two oldest children, Martha & Joseph. They were received 29-4-1769 at the Fairfax Monthly Meeting, VA. Martha married 1-3mo-1775 at the Fairfax Monthly Meeting, and was identified as Daniel's daughter. Daniel returned to Bucks Co to marry Sarah BILES on 12 May 1764. The Deposition of Sarah ASHTON aged upwards of seventy years taken at the Tavern of John DRISH in Leesburg on the Saturday[?] of Loudoun August Court week 1814 to be used in an action of ejectment [now?] pending in the Superior Court of Loudoun County in which Chas McMannama [also McMannaman and McManamy] is Pltf and Daniel Lovatt is Defdt. This affiant being first solemnly affirmed says ___ answer to the following interrogatories. / ...Are you the Mother of Daniel Lovett the Defdt & the widow of Daniel Lovatt Decd who boughT [from?] Carlyle the land a part of which is in Dispute between the present parties? Answer Yes / ...Have you lived in the Neighborhood of your son Daniel ever since the death of your Husband Daniel Lovet decd. Answer No have not. / ...Did you rent out the land during your widowhood to hold & use up to this time ___ years & without question ___ McNanama? Answer Yes more than 5 years. My said husband D. Lovatt died 29 years 13th of last April... Daniel LOVATT's will was dated 29 Mar 1785 and was proved 9 May 1785. Sarah was named exec. with sons Joseph (son of Daniel & Ann) and Jonathan (son of Daniel & Sarah). Per Sarah's deposition, his death was on 13 April 1785. Daniel & Sarah had an account at Israel Janney's store in Loudoun Co. The account for Sarah, the widow Lovett, continued until the latter part of 1790, and perhaps further in account books that did not survive.
