I do know also the Schencks originated in Monmouth Co., NJ. They are Dutch. They moved from Long Island to Monmouth Co. My 8th gr-grandfather was Roelof Martens Schenck and his daughter married a Couwenhoven (later Conover) who married a Goodenough, etc. If someone is interested in this family and can trace them back across the Delaware to Jersey, I have a lot of information.
