Can you help me to discover anything on this unknown fellow? For that is what he is, as far as I know, generally unknown! His relation, for such he must be, is George STOCKHAM, who is fairly well known. George was in the Revolutionary War. I list wife and kids. He had no child named William, and since William was also in the R.W., and George's kids were all way too young for them to be in the war, anyway, he being married about 1868, he is not a child of George. He cannot be a father of George, since George was pushing the envelope himself, in being fairly old in the war. Hence it would either be a brother or a cousin. Not likely a cousin, I think, though possible. A nephew? Most unlikely. Possibly, but most unlikely. Both are listed as Bristol Twp., Bucks Co., PA. William is not George under another name, either, as there is corresponding information on George already. I found them both listed on the new PA State Archives Online Revolutionary War Database. Thanks for any leads, etc. Vince Summers
