    3. Hello All, I've been subscribing to your message list for a few months now, trying to learn all that I could about Bucks Co. as I began my Bailey side of the family. You are all so helpful! I am researching the following Bucks County, PA family, can anyone help? I. Amos Bailey (Baily), a cabinet maker, b. about 1774-1780 Falls Twp. d. after 1850 Middletown, PA m. Esther Adamson b. About 1790 d. after 1850 Middletown, PA. I see on Ancestry.com that there is an Amos Baily in the Middletown Quaker Records. Have not been to the library yet to look up the references, though. Possible II. John Bailey (Baily), a carpenter, b. about 1799 m _________. On 1850 Middletown Census with children 1. John, age 15, b. about 1835 2. Elizabeth, age 27, b. about 1823 3. Terissa?, age 22, b. about 1828 4. Anna, age 11, b. about 1839 Possible III. Thomas Barclay Bailey (Baily), a carpenter, b. about 1825 m. Cynthia or Suntha, born in PA. On 1850 Middletown Census with daughter, 1. GeorgeAnna, age 1, b. about 1849 On 1880 Bristol Census with children Children: 2. Lizzie A. b. about 1857, a teacher 3. May R. b. about 1864, in school IV. William R. Bailey (Baily), a carpenter living very close to Thomas Barclay Baily in 1880 in Bristol, b. about 1855 in PA m. Margaret "Maggie" Crouthers d/o Theodore & Mary Ann Crouthers b. about 1859 Children: 1. Thomas Barclay Bailey, also a carpenter, b. 1883 2. William "Billy" Bailey 3. Theodora "Theo" Bailey 4. Firman Bailey In Bristol, PA, William R. Bailey was a member of the Knoghts of Pythias and the Bristol Masonic Lodge #25. William R. and Maggie Bailey, and at least children Thomas Barclay and Theodora Bailey moved to Washington, DC some time befoe 1906. I have the church program from the First Baptist Church, Bristol, PA 50th anniversary in 1898 and someone wrote in the margin that Rev. J. H. Kennard "married father and mother in 1858." Could be the marriage of either Thomas Barclay Bailey and Cynthia or the marriage of Theodore Crouthers and Mary Ann. Can anyone help with this family? Thanks for your time! Amanda Cook, Macon, GA PS I have a picture of a small older woman wearing a high necked black dress. I think that it might be Cynthia, the wife of Thomas Barclay Bailey. It was taken in Bristol, PA. Looks to be in the mid to late 1800s. I also have pictures of William R. Bailey if any descendants are reading this, I'd be glad to send copies.
