They were mostly members of Falls meeting, and it is said that some of them walked all the way down there to attend meetings, before they had permission to hold them in Buckingham. ... Among the original settlers [was] Daniel Jackson. I have a Mary Jackson who married John Watson 1779 - I have a lead from an early biography that she was a descendant of "Dan'l Jackson who settled Bristol about 1698." He married Hannah Baynes about 1698. Interested in any research done on this line.
