Black (grandfather) and Lena M (Mackel) Black (grandmother) – Thaddeus W. Black (ggrandfather) and Anna V. (Smay) (ggrandmother) – Adam Black (gggrandfather) and possibly Delilah (gggrandmother) (or maybe Delia – no last name) I am seeking information on Thaddeus W. Black, born in Pulaski, PA (could have been Mercer county or Lawrence) about 1844, married to Anna V. Smay in 1891 on August 11, died in April 1933 in or around Texas City, TX. (buried in desert outside of Texas City so our family story goes) AND/OR Adam Black, also from Pulaski, PA no other information available. Thaddeus left Pennsylvania for TX in 1900 after his wife Anna died from typhoid pneumonia. Walter was only 2 years old so he left him with an aunt named Mary (Smay) Mangus and took Walters sister Thannet (or Thanet) along to Texas. Thannet in turn married a man named Fred Hassler and had two daughters, one named Naomi and the other possibly also Thannet (family referred to her as little Thannet). Naomi in turn married a man named Odell Norris. If anyone has any information on this line please let meknow.
