Widow applied 19 Sept. 1838 Lincoln, ME., aged 88 a resident of Thompson, ME. Widow was Lucy (?) who was born 26 Oct 1750 and soldier was born 15 May 1742. Soldier enlisted at Hanover, (now Lisborn) CT. Soldier's 1st wife, "Loas" Brewster, d/o Benjamin Brewster, died 14 Nov, 1777 and they had children, towit; Darisu born 23 June 1764, a resident of Tomaston, ME in 1836; Eunice born May 11, 1766; Sarah born 15 May 1768; Cyrus born 7 Dec. 1772; Ira born 1775; Benjamin and Joseph, twins, born 5 Nov. 1777, Soldier married 2nd wife (Lucy) and had children; Daniel born 17 Nov 1780; Loas born 17 April 1782; Ruth born 1 Oct 1784 and Lucy the 2nd, born 1 May 1795, also shown, William born 27 May 1789 a resident of Camden, NE in 1838; Lucy born 30 Nov, 1791, Sarah born 8 Oct 1801, Samuel born 2 Aug 1804, Zadock died 21 May 1811, Asa, died 27 Feb 1814, Enuice died June18, 1819 and Esther died 13 Jan. 1821. The emmigrat, William Brewster also brought a son, Jonathan Brewster to America, he lived and died in Duxenburgh (Duxbury), and he (William grandson of the emmigrant) had 5 sons ans 2 daughters, sons were, Nathaniel, William, Benjamin, Joseph, Joshau and the daughters not named, His son, Nathaniek Brewster had three sons and 2 daughters, towit; Samuel, Joseph, William, Marcy and Ruth. His son Joseph Brewster had four sons and 2 daughters, towit; Zadock, Joseph, Nathaniel, Truelove, Mary and Ruth and his son, Zadock was the Rev. war soldier. Well now, ladies and gentlemen, those who were looking to get in the Society of the Mayflower, whatever, and/ or the DAR or the SAR, I'd say, your in like Flynn.
