Hi Jack, Still trying to find a documented link to my "one" branch of Heatons. Have the other documented back to the late 1500s in Lanc. Co., England. Heatons are like Smiths, just too many. Not all the Heatons of Bucks Co., PA are descended from that Robert. My 3rd great grandfather, Abner Heaton married in Lower Makefield Twp., Bucks Co., PA where the infamous Robert Heaton lived. But the name Robert does not run in my Heaton line. The names Joseph, George, & Samuel seem to repeat as the early Jonathan Heaton line of Philadelphia. I have a large data base of Heatons, but very little info on the Philly Heatons. But Robert seems to take importance in eastern PA histories. Going to have to make time and visit the area - when I get my last one out of the nest and Hubby retires. Thanks for the message. Have a good week. Julia A.
