    3. John seem that there is some interest on Van Buskirk. So since I'm lazy, I deceided to put it on here. Buskirk/Van Buskirk Monroe County The family names was originall Van Buskirk. John Buskirk, was born in Hamilton Twp., Monore County, he married Catharine Smith, native of Jackson Twp., d/o Abraham and Susan (Possinger) Smith. Joseph Buskirk, born Oct. 19, 1854 in Jackson twp., married in Pocono twp, to Maria Gantzhorn, who died leaving one child, Maranda, born July 23, 1878, she became the wife of Clinton H. Kautz of Stroudsburg and they have one son, Harold B. born Nov. 25, 1899. Joseph married 2nd to Susan Fellenser/Felker, a d/o Peter and Mary (Marsh) Fellenser/Felker. Her grandfather Peter Fellenser was a native of Hamilton, where he married and made his home. Peter Fellenser Jr. was born March 22, 1808, he married Mary Marsh, d/o Jacob and Mary (Cress) Marsh, their chiildren; Joseph born 1840 a resident of Jackson twp., Catharine born 1842 married John Miller; Samuel born 1844 of Jackson; Hannah married Jeremiah Miller of Wind Gap; Susanna, born 1848, the wife of Joseph Buskirk; Elizabeth born 1850, the wiife of Edward Singer; Sarah C,. the wife of John Nixon, of Stroudsburg; Lydia born 1854, the wife of John B. Elliot of Stroudsburg; Peter E born 1857, a resident of Bangor, PA., who married Alta, d/o John Singer. Lutheran Church/ Van Buskirk Monroe County John Everitt, grandfather, married _____Stiener John Everitt, father was in in Chestnut Hill in 1796, he married Catharine Lorsch born in Northampton County in 1800, d/o John and Salome (Seem) Lorsch. James Everitt, son of John, was bor Nov. 25, 1836, he married Emaline Hufmacker, a native of Chestnut Hill. He married 2nd on June 28, 1884 to Mrs. Mary A. (Van Buskirk) Christman, d/o Enoch and Julia Ann (Attmose) Van Buskirk, of Ross Twp. and the widow of Dewalt Christman. (Member of the Reformed Church) The paternal grandfather to Mary A., was Jacob Van Buskirk, a native of Holland, came to Ross township, he married Hannah Hogland. Her maternal grandparent were Adam and Catharine (Starner) Altmose, The children of Enoch and Julia Van Buskirk were; Mary A.,; Charles, married Emma Gruver; Jacob married Amanda Ramel, and they lived in Phila; Eliza, wife of Paul Raseley; Lizzie, who married _____Finkley of MS; Ella who married Barney Miller of Easton; Emma, wife of UriasSnyder of Catasauqua; Enos died April 19, 1873 aged 62. Julia died Sep. 11, 1868 aged 42. Mary A. Van Buskirk, the eldest child, was first married to Dawalt Christman, who was a son of John and Mary (Gower ) Christman. Dawalt was a blacksmith, he died aged 42 (1881), they had 3 sons; Charles, Dawalt and Jacob W., who married Mary William and lived in Easton, PA. Her 2nd marriage to James Everitt was blessed with 3 more children; A. Mabel, Raymond, and Grace. Best Wishes, Geri
