Now my Rachel Pownall, who married John Peters had a close connection to Paxson's as well that Thelma had mentioned...Rachel's Grandfather George Pownall had a sister, Abigail who married a William Paxson. Did you ever determine where exactly your Peters lived in comparison to Peters Corner in Solebury, Bucks County, PA? I have not verified that my John Peters lived at Peters corner, but my Peters lived in Bucks County, Pa as of 1779 and in 1790 Census there is a John Peters living next to Charles Reeder. Hence, I would be making a jump that he lived at the approximate location of Peters Corners.
