I am researching James JOHNSON (1778-1863), a merchant who lived in Bristol, Bucks Co, PA at least from the early 1830's until he left to live with his daughter (Mary Ann JOHNSON SEAL of Camden, NJ) in the late 1850's. Tombstone inscriptions from the churchyard of St James Episcopal in Bristol suggest that he was married twice: first to a Margaret (???) abt 1800, and second to a Mary Ann GLENN abt 1824. Is anyone on this list researching the Bristol Johnson's in this timeframe? I will gladly share the information I have gathered in this search. Here are the tombstone inscriptions from James Johnson's plot at St James. >From Collections of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania. Gravestone Inscriptions, St James P. E.
