Hi Linda, The Pursell private burial ground is located in Bridgeton Twp. It is on the west side of the pubic rd along the Delaware River, about 6/10ths of a mile south of the Milford bridge. It is behind and between some residences. My ggggGrandfather John Moore was buried there in 1807. I'm not sure who is responsible for caretaking, but it is still there....surrounded by a brick wall with stone coping. Part of the wall is falling down in disrepair! Some of the graves have recently sunk. There is an interesting story about the graveyard. I'll find it....very interesting! I've been told that it was originally part of the Pursell homestead. I'd love to know more...so I thought maybe I'd get a little help in this forum....Thanks, Susan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Huff Muessig" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 08, 2007 7:08 PM Subject: Re: [PABUCKS] Pursell, Williams, Goddard, Moore > Pursell burial ground?
