    3. Marion, Would you please check for DYER and BROWN? They were early Quakers who lived in Plumstead / Dyersville. 3. Hi Diane; I did check the CD for Dyer and Brown. There are over 100 references to Browns and twelve for Dyers. Many of the references will only be because they married into a family being sketched; but some will be in detailed family sketches. As Judy Jackson posted today, many of the sketches are already posted on PAGenWeb; but since not all are, you may want to get the CD. The index is very helpful in finding the people you want to look up. I got it from Heritage Books (heritagebooks.com) (800-398-7709) I have copied the page from their website: CD: A Genealogical and Personal History of Bucks County Pennsylvania Quantity in Basket: None Code: CD1355 Price: $26.00 CD: A Genealogical and Personal History of Bucks County, Pennsylvania - William W. H. Davis. This weighty collection of biographical sketches provides an authentic history of the earliest settlers of Bucks County, supplemented by copious genealogical data on the county's first families and prominent men. Sketches generally describe the subject's place and date of birth and death, spouse, children, residence, occupation and any notable incidents or achievements. This edition includes a new every name index by Gloria C. Dozier. 2000, CD, Graphic Images, Adobe Acrobat, v6, PC and Mac, index, 1229 pp. $26.00 CD1355 ISBN: 0788413554 The other thing I have, which I'm sure you would be interested in, is John Dyer's diary on CD 1763-1805!!!! My first husband's Fenton family was mentioned in it. I got it for a very nominal cost from: Ray Friess 1801 Jennifer Way Salt Lake City, Utah 84116 Good Luck! Marion Kane

    3. Marion, Thank you for checking. I'm surprised at all the Brown references - and that there are so few Dyer references. I'll check the PAGenWeb site and I'm happy to have the CD information. I do have the Journal from Ray - bless him. The Dyer who wrote the journal is part of our Dyer family - a brother to my husband's ancestor.
