Dave. I think we corresponded in the past on the Slacks. In any case, I'll coattail on your message. I have a Cornelius Slack White who died in Ohio. My James White who married Hannah Yardley was from Bucks. I have always suspected that there was a White-Slack marriage sometime between 1800 (perhaps earlier) and say 1830. Otherwise, perhaps just named for a good friend. The Slacks and Whites lived near one another. So, if anyone knows of a Slack-White marriage please let me know. Mike in Carlisle PA

He married Jenkey MARGERUM,b.Dec. 12, 1797 in Bucks Co. Jenkey's mother was Rebecca WHITE,b. @1773.
