My research has centered mainly on the Irish community in the central part of the county: Bowman, Polk, Liberty, Duncan and a few other townships. Still, I've been through the entire county censuses, and have indexed parts of them from 1850 to 1900. I only have Jeremiah up to the 1860 census, after that I loose him. I do have his sons born before 1860, William F. (+ Nancy Miles in 1880) and Lafayette (+ Mary Montgomery in 1881). Yeah, Jeremiah must have been in the county if those sons got married there. Did any of Jeremiah's descendents marry into the (Scotch) Irish community? Names include Sterling, Cochran, Ross, Caldwell, Crawford, McCrackin, Graham and several others.
