I don't know if you are aware that Wilson V. Ledley published a genealogy of the Stoothoff Family of Long Island and in New Jersey in 1968. I have portions that apply to my family. The document takes descendents down to around 1820. He listed 11 children from Gerret and Johanna Nevius: Elbert, Adriana, Aeltje, Johannes, Sarah, Helena, Johanna, Cornelis, Petrus, Wilhelmus and Garret.
