I travelled from jersey in the spring and also went to the library. The information that you were trying to find was in the Bristol Courier on August 4, 1941 with the heading "Bensalem Township Man Fatally Hurt In Auto Accident. Leon Stankiewicz, 27, Crashes Into Tree; Dies Nine Hours Later. 4 Fractured Bones. They listed it with another accident on the front page. I searched all of August of that year and still did not find an obit. I was thinking that because it was on the front page that they did not put an obit in. Either that or an obit is in a Philly paper for that era. I also could not find any thing on Stanley. I am hoping that the Philadelphia Public Library will have something on him.
