O'Brien James McCarty is recorded among "Warrantees of lands in Bucks County" under date of April 15, 1746, and again on December 31, 1750. ****************************** source: "Descendants of James Carrell and Sarah Dungan, His Wife" On page 40, it lists the children of Silas McCarty and Sarah (Carrell) McCarty. "The second child was James, b. January 1, 1725/6, m. Sarah (?)" On page 70, it shows "James McCarty, second son of Silas and Sarah (Carrell) McCarty, born in Bucks County January 1, 1725/6." and continues on page 71 to show "With wife Sarah, he joined with the heirs in deed of 1760, but we have no further record of him." *************************************** source: "Early Friends Families of Bucks County" Silas and Sarah had a son named James who was born Nov. 1 1725-26 and was married to Sarah ________.
