Hi listers, I may have figured out who Patrick and Thomas McCarty were in Bucks County. I found an Edward McCarty at rootsweb. His parents were Nicholas McCarty and Unity Casey. Edward had sons named Patrick and Thomas. It gets really confusing with all of those McCarty's in the same area at the same time frame. One clue may be that Nicholas McCarty's line were Catholic. Silas McCarty's line were Presbyterians. I did find Dennis McCarty brother to Silas at rootsweb. I hope to hear from the submitter of the data soon.
